Thanks CTOnews.com for the clue delivery of luggage! CTOnews.com February 19 news, Zeiss released ZX1 integrated camera in September 2018, equipped with 37.4 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm F2 fixed focus lens, built-in Android + Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, but unfortunately the market does not seem to buy it.

Many users believe that whether it is the $6000 price, the Android version of Lightroom software, and a series of hard defects such as not supporting SD card slots are serious problems affecting the sales of Zeiss ZX1. Existing users have found that the Zeiss ZX1 camera has been listed as discontinued on international e-commerce B&H.

It is worth mentioning that pre-installing Android for smart cameras is not an idea that was not pioneered by Zeiss. Samsung's Galaxy camera, launched in 2012, also uses Android, a full eight years before the Zeiss model. But even so, the concept failed to succeed eight years later.

At present, Zeiss has not responded to this news, and it seems that there is no idea of launching a follow-up model. CTOnews.com will continue to follow up its news for everyone.
