The National Energy Group said that the platform has the ability to evaluate the network-related capability and flexibility of many kinds of power sources, such as wind, water, fire and so on, which provides theoretical guidance for the stable, economic and coordinated operation of a high proportion of new energy, and effectively supports the development of new power systems.
According to reports, based on improving the power side activity, the platform puts forward a power side construction simulation method to adapt to the new power system pattern, aiming at the national energy group in operation and new investment new energy stations, carry out the construction of the model base of generation, transmission and transformation equipment, including wind power, photovoltaic, reactive power compensation, energy storage, thermal power, hydropower, AC / DC transmission, transformer and so on. It has the ability of multi-level, multi-scene and multi-energy coordination simulation, such as small microgrid system, local new energy base, regional new power system and so on.
CTOnews.com learned from the official of the State Energy Group that the platform is divided into four core areas, namely, new energy control debugging simulation area, real-time simulation system and interface equipment area, booster station simulation area and working commissioning area. Each region cooperates with each other and can carry out new energy base planning, multi-energy coordinated operation, major accident traceability analysis, network-related simulation modeling, network-based new energy generation research and creation, and other services.
