This is just part of our commitment to bring Xbox games and Activision games (such as call of Duty) to more players on more platforms.

Microsoft and Nintendo have now negotiated and signed a binding 10-year legal agreement to bring call of Duty to Nintendo players-launched on the same day as the Xbox platform, with full functionality and equivalent content-so they can experience call of Duty like Xbox and PlayStation gamers.

Note that the announcement refers to Nintendo's game platform, not Switch, which means that Nintendo's future console platform will also be able to enjoy games from Microsoft and Activision.

The partnership is not surprising. According to CTOnews.com, Microsoft Xbox director Phil Spencer has promised to provide call of Duty games on the Nintendo platform and Steam over the next decade if Microsoft succeeds in acquiring Activision Blizzard.

And this cooperation is also to counter the obstruction of Sony PlayStation to the acquisition, Sony has previously raised a lot of questions about the follow-up release of call of Duty.
