CTOnews.com February 21 news, according to "China High Score Observation" public news, NASA Earth Observation and Data Center organized a "Xihe" satellite in-orbit test summary review meeting in Beijing on February 17. Xihe satellite successfully passed the summary review of in-orbit test.

After discussion, experts attending the meeting believed that Xihe satellite had completed all in-orbit test projects, realized the engineering objectives of double-super platform test and scientific load test, obtained data strongly supported the scientific research of solar Hα spectrum, completed the in-orbit verification of solar navigation instrument with load atomic frequency discrimination, and all technical indicators of satellite engineering met the general requirements of engineering development and construction.

It was successfully launched at Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center on October 14 last year, marking that China officially entered the era of space exploration.

At present, the scientific payload of Xihe satellite produces about 1.1 terabytes of raw data per day, which, after calibration, produces about 760 gigabytes of level 1 scientific data for direct study. These scientific data have been released to the public through the website designated by the National Space Administration (Nanjing University Solar Science Data Center) in accordance with the data management policy, and have been downloaded and used by scientists from the United States, France, Germany, Japan, Belgium, Czech Republic, Russia and other countries.

According to introduction,"Xihe" has joined the joint exploration system of international solar exploration satellites at the same time, and has completed many joint solar observations with Solar Orbiter and IRIS of the United States, which has produced rich scientific achievements and significantly enhanced China's international influence in the field of space science.
