Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen Broadwell for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com February 24, Canonical today released the second maintenance release update of Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish), 6 months after the last update.

Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS maintenance release update not only fixes errors in previous version updates, introduces security fixes, but also upgrades the kernel to Linux 5.19 and updates the graphics stack to Mesa 22.2.5.

All official flavor versions, including Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Studio, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu MATE and Ubuntu Kylin, have been synchronously updated to Ubuntu 22.04.2 and a new ISO image has been released. The above flavor version will be supported for 3 years, while the official Ubuntu version will support for 5 years.
