CTOnews.com, February 24, Blackmagic Design today launched the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro, a new and powerful studio camera model with larger 6K sensors, improved colorimetry for more refined content, and commonly used EF lens bayonets and ND filters.

The new model has a built-in live push function that can be pushed over Ethernet or mobile data, so users can place the camera at a distance and then send H.264 HD live streaming signals back to the studio over the Internet.

The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro uses the compact all-in-one design of the studio camera series, its fuselage is made of lightweight carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate, integrates a 7-inch HDR image finder, and is equipped with a variety of powerful broadcast-grade interfaces.

Blackmagic also released Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2, a newer model that also features built-in LVB push.

In addition, today Blackmagic released a software update for Blackmagic Camera version 8.0, which adds updates to Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro and Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus models, including an updated user interface, support for writing motion sensor data to Blackmagic RAW record files, and retention of presets and LUT for future updates. In addition, it can add mapping to the L-Fn button on the MFT lens, and improves lens and autofocus performance.

The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro is on sale for $2495 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 17240 yuan).
