The original team of "Watch Vanguard" has set up a new studio and is currently recruiting art designers.

CTOnews.com February 26 news,"Overwatch" chief software engineer William Warnecke LinkedIn home page shows that he left Blizzard in January this year for more than 11 years, joined an undisclosed new studio. In addition, William Petras, former Overwatch Art Director, also announced the status of joining the studio.

There is evidence that the team was formed from the original Overwatch 1 crew.

William posted a few days ago that their small game studio is looking for a talented art designer, and the studio's recruiter Angela P's personal homepage openly wrote: "We are a small team of super developers of Overwatch Pioneer 1 and are now recruiting art designers."

In addition, the first user recommended by its user page was Jeff Kaplan, the game designer "brother-in-law" who left Blizzard in 2021, suggesting that they may have been in contact (both parties are in a "connect" state, and LinkedIn requires mutual consent to establish a connection).

Given that Angela's resume only includes this studio, and that it happened in May after Jeff Kaplan announced his departure (April), a large number of overseas players believe that Jeff Kaplan also worked at this studio.
