In November last year, the cloud signing ceremony of the project of Wenzhou BYD new energy power battery production base was held. The power battery to be produced in this project adopts one of the battery technologies with great potential at present, which is expected to promote the high-quality development of the whole new energy industry chain, and link the transformation and upgrading of Wenzhou's existing power battery, automotive electronics, automobile and motorcycle accessories and other industries. the first production line is expected to be put into production in 2024.

CTOnews.com combed the data of China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance and learned that BYD accounted for 23.45% of domestic power battery installations in 2022, ranking second only to Ningde era (48.20%). In January this year, Ningde era and BYD's domestic power battery load accounted for 44.41% and 34.12% respectively, ranking firmly in the top two.
