After digging deeper into Windows 11 build 25300, Twitter users and Microsoft watcher @ PhantomOfEarth found three strings suggesting that Microsoft was developing optional display features for the system tray. More specifically, strings related to "hide taskbar clock", "hide time and date in system tray" and "open this to hide time and date information in the corner of the taskbar" were found in Build 25300.

@ PhantomOfEarth has also done a simulation design to show what a system tray might look like without a clock and date, and CTOnews.com needs to point out that the style is imaginary and is so uncertain.

In addition, these strings do not guarantee that the feature will eventually fall to the ground, and while these strings can be seen as evidence of Microsoft's interest in developing the feature, they may also be cancelled halfway.
