London musicians help produce music albums by training ChatGPT.

CTOnews.com London musician David Domminney Fowler has started using ChatGPT to produce music albums. He has worked with British rock band Muse, singer Phil Collins, and is a professional who loves coding and music.

Fowler not only uses ChatGPT to write lyrics, but also repeatedly uses ChatGPT to improve music, and uses ChatGPT to optimize music creation.

Fowler is the guitarist and singer of Australia Pink Floyd Show. He has formed bands such as Juice, Space Potatoes, Dean Howard Band and Audial. He has previously recorded with Muse, Wilco Johnson, Phil Collins and Ian Gillian.

Fowler believes that it is very important to use AI tools to meet human creative needs. CTOnews.com translation reads as follows

I think a lot of people will think of what they want from the tips and be disappointed when the results aren't what they expected, but they won't invest the time to get decent results.

Some people ask about things and are indifferent to technology, and some people are so struck by human-like feelings that they don't really test it objectively.

It is important to establish communication methods with AI tools. After several unsuccessful attempts to get ChatGPT to write melodies and chord sequences, I changed my communication style.

I wrote JavaScript functions to add chords to midi files, and then extended them to include multiple tracks and melody, drum, and bass lines.

By copying the code/function into ChatGPT, it will know how to add chords and melodies etc. It can then generate code that I can run to make a midi file that contains all the music data.

Fowler said that ChatGPT's initial answers did not satisfy him, but through repeated communication, ChatGPT has been able to write music scores and help humans create music.
