Tesla signed a high-nickel cathode material supply agreement with South Korea's LhasampterF, valued at 3.83 trillion won
According to foreign media reports, Tesla signed a 3.83 trillion won (US $2.91 billion) high-nickel cathode material supply agreement with South Korean battery material manufacturer Laff on February 28.
Lindf said it signed a two-year contract with Tesla that will begin on January 1, 2024 and end on December 31, 2025.
The company pointed out that during the term of the contract, the unit sales price of its materials may rise or fall with the fluctuation of lithium price.
On Tuesday, Kim Jong-hwan Kim Jung-hwan, an analyst at Korea Investment & Securities, said in a report that he expected the deal to help Tesla continue to advance his battery supply chain.
