CTOnews.com, February 28, Dell today updated some of its flagship laptop line, upgrading Dell XPS 15 and XPS 17 to the 13th generation Intel Core processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards.

Last year, the appearance and configuration of the Dell XPS 13 were upgraded, but the new XPS 15 and XPS 17 look the same as the models of the past few years. The XPS 15 (9530) and XPS 17 (9730) processor specifications start with Core i5-13500H, up to Intel Core i9-13900H, up to 64GB DDR5-4800 memory, and can be configured with 512GB to 4TB solid state disk storage, but Dell points out that the new laptop can actually support 8TB at most.

In addition to the screen and size, the biggest difference between the two laptops is the graphics card. The XPS 15 starts with Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4050, up to GeForce RTX 4070, and offers Intel entry-level Arc A370M graphics cards, while XPS 17 will start with RTX 4050 and up to RTX 4080.

The two laptops will continue to use Dell's InfinityEdge ultra-narrow frame display, and both 15 and 17 will have high-resolution OLED versions (XPS 17 is 3840 x 2400, XPS 15 is 3456 x 2160 of nearly 4K), and all screen versions support the Dolby horizon.

The new XPS 15 with Intel Core i9, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, 32GB DDR5, 1TB SSD and OLED panels costs $2949 (CTOnews.com Note: about 20496 yuan currently), the XPS 17 with the same configuration and top panel costs $3399 (CTOnews.com Note: about 23623 yuan currently), will go on sale on March 2, and versions with lower-level screens, CPU and GPU will be available at a later date.
