Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen OC_Formula for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, March 1 (Xinhua) Dorsey has been promoting a new decentralized social network called Bluesky since he left Twitter. The Bluesky app was launched on iOS App Store recently, but it is still invited at this stage and is not open to the public.

All users who are interested in the app can be downloaded through App Store. It's just that users need to be invited to join the new social network. The CTOnews.com translated App Store application page reads as follows: "this application is available for download, but you need an invitation code to create an account."

Bluesky's official website still doesn't show many details about social networks or their usability. The only thing users can do is enter their email address on the waiting list to get the invitation. But thanks to the App Store page, we now have a rough idea of what Bluesky looks like.

But behind the scenes, Bluesky is based on the AT protocol (originally called ADX, which is the authentication transport protocol). AT is similar to ActivityPub, a decentralized protocol that supports Mastodon-another social network that is very similar to Twitter in some ways.
