CTOnews.com March 1 News, Pixelmator Pro, the image editing software for macOS, recently released an update of version 3.3, mainly improving the video editing function and re-optimizing the shadow and highlight tools.

Pixelmator Pro initially added video editing in its version update released in December last year. Video editing capabilities have been further enhanced in the Pixelmator Pro 3.3 Mosaic update released today. Users can import, open, or drag video files as easily as images, and adjust them.

The new version also introduces the Remove Color tool, which allows users to select any color on the image and then remove it from the entire photo. But its main use is for video, especially for removing green screens.

In addition to enhancing the video editing function, this update has added a function called sidecar in image editing. Now, when a user saves a JPEG file, another file named sidecar is saved.

The sidecar file contains all the details of the editing, so you can add or undo the images and sidecar files by loading them back into Pixelmator Pro.
