CTOnews.com, March 1 (Xinhua)-- Obsidian Entertainment (Obsidian) has interviewed foreign technology media TheGamer in order to warm up the upcoming launch of "Extraterrestrial World: the Choice of astronauts" (The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition) on March 7.

In the interview, team members expressed interest in making a remake of radiation: new Vegas (Fallout: New Vegas). CTOnews.com learned from the report that obsidian's joint game director, Tim Cain, said in an interview: "I can't decide if I can move forward with this project, but wouldn't it be a great idea to remake radiation: new Vegas?"

Leonard Boyarsky, another game director for the developer, agreed with Cain, saying: "it's going to be great!"

Obsidian Entertainment is currently developing new games for Microsoft. One is Avowed, which was first warmed up in June 2020, and the other is The Outer Worlds 2, which is warmed up in June 2021.

There were rumors online last year that Microsoft was considering a sequel to radiation: new Vegas, but given obsidian's game development roadmap, it could be years away.
