Brave search engine launches "Summarizer" option: use AI to provide more concise and accurate search results
CTOnews.com, March 3 (Xinhua)-- Privacy-protected Brave browser today announced the introduction of a new "Summarizer" option for its dedicated search engine Brave Search.
Summarizer is supported by the large language Model (LLM), and users can get more concise and accurate answers in Brave Search search results. Unlike OpenAI's generative AI chat tool ChatGPT, the LLM used in Brave training only comes from multiple sources of network results.
Although Google search provides a similar summary function, it is usually based on authoritative sources and displays only one result, while Summarizer can select multiple sources of information in the results.
Brave says web search results using Summarizer can provide accurate answers in a coherent language. The data is also referenced through links to accurately attribute the information and allow the user to evaluate the credibility of the source. The response is only as accurate as the site the browser uses for summaries, and each source is clearly defined.
