CTOnews.com learned from BMW Group officials that by 2030, BMW expects 50 per cent of its sales to come from pure electric models, with cumulative sales of 10 million electric vehicles. At that time, BMW Group's Rolls-Royce, MINI brand, BMW Motorrad urban travel series will also be fully electrified.

In addition, the BMW Group's first pilot fleet of BMW iX5 Hydrogen hydrogen fuel cell vehicles recently opened a road test in Antwerp, Belgium. After four years of research and development, the BMW iX5 Hydrogen hydrogen fuel cell vehicle project has entered the next phase. A pilot fleet of nearly 100 BMW iX5 Hydrogen hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will be demonstrated and tested around the world, and the pilot fleet will come to China this year.
