FTX said in a public report released on Thursday local time that it had found about $2.7 billion (about 18.657 billion yuan) in customer assets, while the outstanding balance of customer accounts was $11.6 billion (about 80.156 billion yuan). FTX's estimates of the value of its assets and liabilities are based on the price of the cryptocurrency on the day the company filed for bankruptcy in early November.

Last November, FTX announced the commencement of bankruptcy proceedings in the United States. FTX said in a statement at the time that CEO Sam Bankman-Fried had resigned and John Ray had been appointed as FTX's new CEO.

Us media pointed out that the new management of FTX, led by John Ray, has been trying to find and lock in billions of dollars of customer funds that went missing after the company filed for bankruptcy. Ray said on Thursday that it was not possible to predict how much money customers would get back.
