Wandering Earth to launch derivative animated short series
CTOnews.com March 3, according to the official news of the film wandering Earth, director Guo Fan said that there are three directions of animation, short films and episodes for "wandering Earth", which are still under planning.
The films wandering Earth and wandering Earth 2 were released in February 2019 and January 2023, respectively. The series is directed by Guo Fan and starred specially by Wu Jing, based on Liu Cixin's novel of the same name.
Wandering Earth 2, which is currently in theaters, has earned 3.945 billion at the box office as of press time, with a Douban rating of 8.3.
