No batteries, OPPO displays Zero Power Tag trackers
CTOnews.com, March 4 (Xinhua)-- OPPO unveiled a special gadget on MWC 2023, the Zero Power Tag tracker, which claims to be traceable without a battery.
According to reports, there is no battery inside the OPPO Zero Power Tag, but uses RF radio frequency technology, which relies on collecting radio frequency energy from the surrounding area and transmitting location data through low-power Bluetooth. CTOnews.com partners can see similar technology in some canteens, which can automatically calculate the price by putting the plate in the identification area.
The accessory can also be used with sensors to measure temperature and humidity, as well as to track the migration of endangered birds, OPPO said.
