Google Android 15 dessert theme code exposed: "Vanilla Ice Cream"

CTOnews.com March 4 news, Google dessert-themed Android 15 code name began to appear, earlier this year, code name Vanilla Ice Cream (Vanilla Ice Cream).

Google Android 14's dessert theme code name is "Upside Down Cake", which has long been known. While we won't see a full release of Android 14 any time soon, from an internal point of view, Android developers are preparing for the next chapter.

According to Mishaal Rahman, a series of code changes with new codes appear in AOSP. Android 15 is expected to arrive in 2024, and Google has been looking forward to the future and working on new enhancements and updates.

The dessert-themed code name does not represent a specific function, but it is still an interesting egg. Many lovely statues have been erected on the Google campus to celebrate each major new version of Android (CTOnews.com Note: some have been removed), including later statues of Android 13.
