A large number of Twitter users have the problem of broken links, Musk responded
Beijing, March 7 (Xinhua) according to Reuters, a large number of Twitter users have broken links while visiting social media platforms and other websites. Musk replied: "the current problem has been solved."
Twitter Musk said: "the code stack is very fragile, as long as there is a little change, it will eventually need to be completely rewritten." but now the problem has been solved and users can use it normally. "
There have been concerns about the stability of Twitter since Mr Musk took over Twitter last October. The Internet Observatory NetBlocks said: "Twitter has had six major interruptions before, and this issue has been intermittently affecting image and video content."
Alp Toker, director of NetBlocks, said: "the error messages provided by Twitter's link-sharing platform and internal API point to problems with the platform's services, which have a knock-on effect on other aspects of the service." This shows that Twitter did not effectively test software update issues before pushing them to the public.
Twitter has laid off a number of engineers, including those responsible for dealing with software and other service issues, in an effort to cut costs, sources told Reuters.
