Officials say that no one wants their teammates to suddenly leave and fall into a four-on-five disadvantage, either at the beginning of the game or after 40 minutes of fierce fighting. The system will notify you whenever the level of punishment is raised and the punishment period ends. With regard to removing the penalty, officials say the only way to remove the penalty is to wait for the penalty time to pass (level 4 or above), or to wait for a pairing delay and play a specified number of games (level 1-3). You cannot remove these penalties manually, nor can you recover hidden points or league points that you lost as a result of leaving or hanging up the net.
