CTOnews.com March 9, Huawei's new smartwatch Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro have appeared in the WiFi Alliance certification database and are expected to be unveiled at the P60 launch event later this month.

According to the certification results, Huawei's new smartwatches, models ARC-AL00, MDS-AL10 and MDS-AL00, belong to Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro (the latter two models), respectively, with code names corresponding to the standard and professional versions of the words "Arch" and "Medusa", respectively.

The certification also shows that the Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro will be equipped with the HarmonyOS operating system, which is expected to be HarmonyOS 3, but unfortunately there is no other information about the specification or design.

Previous sources have said that Huawei's Watch 4 series is likely to be equipped with satellite communications that can send text messages without a mobile network. If true, it means Huawei will have the world's first smartwatch with satellite text messages.

In addition, it has been revealed that the dial of the smartwatch will be made of zircon, which is much more durable and crack-resistant than the previous generation, and is four times harder than ordinary steel, but it may also be more expensive than the regular version.
