CTOnews.com March 10 news, designer Andreas Eriksen (Andreas Eriksen) recently developed a laptop project, built-in 12000mAh capacity large battery, and equipped with solar panels, in the case of full battery life for 2 years.

Eriksson said the original intention of developing the project was that he often encountered situations where his laptop was out of power, and that he was usually responsible for developing "small programming projects" without much demand for hardware performance.

PotatoP notebook is based on SparkFun RedBoard Artemis ATP development board, and Ambiq Apollo3 SoC is selected as the processor. The processor has a maximum clock frequency of 96MHz, uses Arm Cortex-M4F architecture, and consumes less than 6mA per MHz.

The SBC uses 384KB RAM and 1MB flash memory, but offers a wealth of interface and connectivity options. CTOnews.com learned from the report that the PotatoP notebook is equipped with a 4.4-inch monochrome LS044Q7DH01 screen with a resolution of 320*240, which also has good readability in direct sunlight.

On the system side, PotatoP runs in a Lisp environment (uLisp). Eriksen, creator of PotatoP, says creating the necessary applications using Lisp is another part of the fun of using this home-made computer.
