With this new service, users can learn more about the latest iPhone models and features, switching to iOS, trade-in offers, operator offers and various payments.

The service, called 'Shop With a Specialist Over Video with experts', is available daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific time on the purchase iPhone page of Apple's official website. During the video session, Apple team members will share their screens through the camera, but they will not be able to see users. Apple promises that the video session is "secure and reliable."

"We continue to innovate to provide our customers with a more personalized experience, meet their needs and provide the best Apple products," said Karen Rasmussen, Apple's director of online retail. "by shopping with experts via video, our team members are happy to get in touch with customers and provide excellent service when they know which iPhone is best for them."

CTOnews.com notes that currently the service is only available for the purchase of iPhone, but over time, Apple may expand it to other product categories.
