Among them, the online retail sales of physical goods totaled 1.7476 trillion yuan, up 5.3 percent, accounting for 22.7 percent of the total retail sales of consumer goods. Among the online retail sales of physical goods, food, clothing and household goods increased by 5.3 percent, 4.0 percent and 5.7 percent respectively.
Overall, from January to February, retail sales of consumer goods totaled 7.7067 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.5 percent over the same period last year. Of this total, retail sales of consumer goods other than cars totaled 7.0409 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.0%.
