March 15, Amazon Cloud Technology (Amazon Web Services) announced that it will launch the Amazon Cloud Technology Infrastructure region in Malaysia. Meanwhile, Amazon Cloud has announced plans to invest a total of $6 billion in Malaysia by 2037.

According to reports, the new area of Amazon Cloud Technology allows customers with data residence requirements to store their data locally in Malaysia to meet the needs of customers doing business in Southeast Asia for cloud services.

Officials say the new Amazon cloud technology region will provide developers, startups, entrepreneurs and businesses, as well as government agencies, education and non-profit organizations with more options to run their applications.
