CTOnews.com, March 15, UL benchmarks reported in October 2021 that Virtualization-based Security (VBS) "virtualization-based security" feature is enabled by default on Win11 systems, which will lead to a decline in game and run performance by up to 30%.

Foreign technology media Tomshardware said in the latest report that even for top graphics cards such as RTX 4090, the frame rate of the game will drop by 10% after turning on VBS.

According to the test results, after disabling VBS, the overall performance can be improved by 5%. The performance of turning on VBS in 4K Ultra game state only loses 2%. CTOnews.com queried the form and found that in the test game "Total War: warhammer 3K" 1080p Ultra, the frame rate of RTX 4090 games without VBS was 113.4, while the frame rate of downstream games with VBS on was 82.3, an increase of 37.7% over the same period last year.
