CTOnews.com March 15 news, Google in January this year through Android 13 QPR Beta 2 update in India to test 5G support for Pixel phones. With the success of Beta testing, Google has now rolled out a March Pixel feature update that brings various fixes in addition to 5G network support for India.

This update enables Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, as well as Pixel 6a, to connect to Jio and Airtel's 5G networks. After installation, 5G will be automatically enabled (once the phone is connected to the network, you should see "5G" in the status bar).

CTOnews.com comes with Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro or Pixel 6a to activate 5G:

Go to Settings on Pixel phone.

Click on the web and the Internet.

Select the SIM card that supports 5G, then click Network Preferences.

Three options will then be presented-5G, LTE and 3G. Select 5G.

In a few seconds, 5G services will be available on Pixel phones.

Other features included support for faster Night Sight shooting on Pixel 7 series phones, health connectivity, fall detection for Pixel Watch, and some features enabled on older models.

One of the more interesting changes is that users can enable two eSIMs simultaneously on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. However, this only applies to some operators, and it has not been confirmed whether India Jio and Airtel are among them.
