In mid-February this year, a number of industry chain people revealed that the Ningde era is taking the initiative to implement the "lithium mine rebate" plan to automobile companies recently. The core clause of the plan is that the price of lithium carbonate for some power batteries will be settled at 200000 per ton over the next three years. At the same time, the car companies that signed the partnership need to commit about 80% of their battery purchases to Ningde era, and require a certain locking fee. It is reported that the "Lithium Mine rebate" program will be aimed at many strategic customers, such as ideal Automobile, Xilai Automobile, Huawei, Polar Krypton Automobile and so on.

On March 10, the record of investor relations activities released by the Ningde era first talked about the popular "lithium mine rebate" plan. Jiang Li, deputy general manager and secretary of the Ningde era, admitted that the proposal of the "lithium mine rebate" plan was not because of price reduction, but that the company has some mineral resources and does not want to reap exorbitant profits, hoping to share with long-term strategic customers and is promoting relevant communication. Jiang Li revealed, "the interest of many customers is very high, and some landings of the company can be seen in the near future, because negotiations need communication and a process."

CTOnews.com noted that the 2022 financial report showed that the power battery sector was still the largest business in Ningde era, with revenue of 236.593 billion yuan, an increase of 158.6% year on year, accounting for 72% of total revenue and an increase of nearly 2 percentage points compared with 2021. The battery loading capacity for the whole year reached 191.6 GWh, accounting for 37% of the global market share.
