CCTV 315 Gala: restoring factory settings is not a complete removal of mobile phone data.

CTOnews.com March 15 news, in tonight's 315th evening, CCTV suggested that restoring factory settings does not necessarily completely erase mobile phone data.

According to the report, the iterative upgrading speed of electronic products is getting faster and faster, and there are more and more old mobile phones and computers in consumers' homes. Can deleting, formatting and restoring factory settings completely erase personal data and ensure information security? The information security laboratory has carried out a special test on this, and the test shows that the operations such as one-click deletion, fast formatting and unchecking "format SD card and mobile phone storage" cannot delete the data completely.

Technical staff hint: to restore the factory settings of the mobile phone, all storage items should be checked, and the personal information in the mobile phone will be safely deleted; when formatting the data on the computer hard disk and USB disk, remove the quick format check box, such a complete format can ensure that the data information is safely deleted.

The live broadcast of the CCTV 315th Gala is under way, and CTOnews.com will bring more reports.
