Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens and soft media users for 1183077 clue delivery! CTOnews.com March 16 news, Apple-related code snippets continue to refer to "realityOS", which may be related to the upcoming Apple AR / VR device.

References to realityOS in Apple's code have been around for months and have even applied for trademarks. The name seems to refer to the operating system that will be used for Apple VR devices.

Whistleblower Nick Chan found other references to realityOS, this time in Apple's open source GitHub repository. Apple's latest OSS content contains a large number of realityOS references.

Like previous realityOS leaks, this seems to confirm that Apple is developing a new autonomous operating system with a unique simulator tool.

MacRumors's Steve Moser shared that "PLATFORM_WOLF" is the code name for Apple's realityOS. This code is also newly added.

A December 2022 report suggests that Apple may have shifted to calling its operating system "xrOS." But there is no evidence that the name has changed or that the code and marketing terminology may be different.

Apple's new AR / VR device is expected to be released during the WWDC23 developer conference in June and is expected to sell for as much as $3000 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 20640 yuan), and in the first generation is mainly aimed at developers.
