Lobster style, Canonical announces Ubuntu 23.04 default wallpaper

CTOnews.com March 16, Canonical plans to release Ubuntu 23.04 "Lunar Lobster" release on April 20, and today announced the default wallpaper for this release. Canonical officially offers two versions, purple and white, with the constellation as the theme and shows the lobster shape.

Oliver Smith, the project manager of Ubuntu, made an introduction, and CTOnews.com translated it as follows:

Lunar Lobster can bring good luck to IT administrators who deploy and manage Ubuntu Desktop. For Ubuntu players, a stable version of Steam's snap installation package will also be released soon.

The classic Ubuntu Desktop installer will replace Subiquity, which not only aligns desktop and server code, but also provides a more refined first-time user experience. Ubuntu 23.04 will also transition to GNOME 44, improving the experience for all users.
