CTOnews.com March 17 news, foreign technology media 9to5Mac in-depth mining of tvOS 16.4 Beta 4 update code, found that Apple is improving Siri voice assistant for Apple TV.

The "Siri Natural Language Generation" (Siri Natural language Generation) framework was found in the code, presumably to enhance the natural language capabilities of personal assistants. It's just not clear how different it is from the existing Siri.

In the latest tvOS 16.4 Beta, Apple launched a new framework called "Siri Natural Language Generation". Current code test results show that the framework can only allow Siri to generate jokes on Apple TV. The company is also experimenting with how to use language generation for countdown.

9to5Mac has only found relevant code in tvOS 16.4 Beta 4, but it is speculated that Apple has included similar (and inactive) code in iOS, HomePod OS, iPadOS and macOS.

It was previously reported that Apple engineers, including members of the Siri team, were testing language-generated concepts "every week" to cope with the rise of chatbots like ChatGPT.
