"Standard" divides the technical level of e-sports athletes in Zhejiang Province into two groups: professional group and non-professional group. Professional group is athletes who have signed contracts with clubs, and non-professional group is ordinary players. It should be noted that both professional and non-professional groups must meet two general conditions, namely, reaching the age of 18, completing nine years of compulsory education and obtaining a full-time junior high school diploma or above.

Specifically speaking, Zhejiang Province issued e-sports athlete rating is divided into five levels, among which professional players only have one, two, three levels, while non-professional players are added four, five levels of evaluation.

The rating in the Standard is directly related to the results obtained in the competition. As long as the player who wins the championship and runner-up in the national professional competition can select the first-class e-sports athlete. Non-professional players, on the other hand, could apply for a five-level technical rating by virtue of their top eight results in the county (district) level non-professional competition.
