CTOnews.com March 18 news, the Asustek ROG Phone 7 phone recently made its debut on the Geekbench running website, which may be the 7D version (judged by its model ASUS_AI2205_D). Of course, the previous D model used a Tianji chip, so this may be a different variant. In addition, there are at least two models lurking in the Geekbench running score database.

Asustek ROG Phone 7 phones have AI2205_B and AI2205_C, probably Asustek ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Pro. There are unconfirmed reports that version C will be available in India.

Please note that all three models B, C, and D of ROG Phone 7 so far use the base version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which has the 3.19GHz main core. In the past, Asustek has introduced enhanced versions of Qualcomm's flagship chips, such as ROG Phone 5 / Pro with basic Snapdragon 888 chip (CTOnews.com Note: 2.84GHz), and ROG Phone 5s / Pro with Snapdragon 888 + chip (CTOnews.com Note: 2.99GHz).

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip also has a 3.36GHz high-frequency version, but this is exclusive to Samsung Galaxy. It is not clear whether it is a time-limited monopoly.

All three models of the ROG Phone 7 have 16GB memory, but Asustek usually also offers a 18GB memory version, which is expected to be LPDDR5X memory + UFS 4.0storage.

According to Gadgetsdata, the Asustek ROG Phone 7 phone will have a 6.8inch FHD+ 165Hz AMOLED display (with built-in fingerprint recognition), as well as a 6000mAh battery and 65W charging power.

The Asustek ROG Phone 6 series went on sale in July last year, so it will take some time to see the next generation of ROG phones on the market.
