CTOnews.com March 18, BYD recently held a brand and product pre-sale conference in Uzbekistan, releasing three new models, including an all-electric model Han EV, two hybrid models Song PLUS DM-i and Destroyer 05. A number of stores will officially open in March, and consumers can experience BYD's latest new energy vehicle technology and products.

Uzbekistan is the largest car market in Central Asia and is moving towards electric cars. BYD brings blade battery and DM-i super hybrid technology to local consumers.

Three avant-garde stores in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, will open one after another in March, namely, BYD's flagship store and technology museum, a large-scale BYD brand experience center and BYD city exhibition hall.

The Biadihan EV starts at 613581000 Uzbek Sum (about RMB 371500), the Song PLUS DM-i starts at 367732000 Uzbek Sum (about RMB 222600), and the destroyer 05 starts at 285736000 Uzbek Sum (about RMB 173000).

As of March 2023, BYD has sold more than 3.7 million new energy passenger vehicles worldwide, covering more than 70 countries and regions and more than 400 cities around the world.

BYD has a long-term localization development plan in Uzbekistan. Last December, BYD signed a joint venture agreement with UzAuto, which will set up a joint venture in Uzbekistan to focus on the production of new energy vehicles and related parts. The first show and pre-sale of BYD new energy passenger cars in Uzbekistan will promote the popularization and promotion of new energy vehicles in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
