Rocket Lab successfully launched "Stronger Together" mission, sending two SAR satellites into space.

CTOnews.com March 18 news, Rocket Lab recently successfully launched the "Stronger Together" rocket mission from the Launch Complex 2 (LC-2) of the Atlantic Regional Spaceport. It was the company's second launch from Complex and its 34th Electron mission.

Capella Space will launch two SAR satellites approximately 57.5 minutes after liftoff to a circular orbit 600 kilometers above Earth, providing customers with all-weather detailed images of the Earth and the highest quality, highest resolution commercial SAR images.

The Electron rocket was 18 meters long and 1.2 meters in diameter. It can carry a nominal payload of 320 kg/ 440 lb, can fly to an altitude of 500 km, and has a total mass of 13000 kg at takeoff. It uses liquid oxygen/kerosene propellant.

Launch Complex 2 is Rocket Lab's first launch site on U.S. soil and can launch once a month. CTOnews.com learned from the report that Rocket Lab said it would not attempt to recycle Electron rockets for this mission.
