The EOS R8 uses a full-picture image sensor with approximately 24.2 million effective pixels, combines the high-speed image processing capabilities of a high-performance DIGIC X digital image processor, and supports electronic shutters (approximately 40 frames per second). The microsheet is equipped with a "pre-shoot" function, and in RAW continuous shooting mode, the camera can automatically record an image of up to half a second before releasing the shutter, record an uncropped 14-bit RAW file of about 2420 megapixels, and record up to 158pictures at a time.
