Jassy said in an internal email that the latest round of layoffs will mainly affect Amazon's cloud computing, human resources, advertising and Twitch live business.
According to CTOnews.com, Andy Jassie issued a letter to all employees in January this year, saying that Amazon plans to lay off more than 18,000 people, most of which involve Amazon stores and people, experience and technology (PXT) departments. The latest cuts are in addition to previous cuts.
