CTOnews.com, March 21 (Xinhua) when foreign netizens James Laidler tried to register for ChatGPT Plus service on Monday, they found that OpenAI website leaked users'e-mail addresses.

Laidler encountered an error registering for the ChatGPT Plus service at 10:36 CET (23:36 Beijing time, March 20) and went to the payment page after several refreshes.

But the page does not show his e-mail address. Then he refreshes the payment page again and either encounters a page failure or randomly displays someone's email address.

"I tested and saw the email addresses of four users, which is clearly the contact information of others," he said. CTOnews.com visited Reddit and Twitter and found that this situation is not alone, and users have reported this problem since Monday.

"this is terrible. I am very worried about the security of my account and bank details," said one Reddit community user.
