PetroChina's first wind power project has been put into production, with an annual generating capacity of 260 million kilowatt-hours

CTOnews.com March 21, according to CNPC official news, Jilin Oilfield Meizi Wind Farm successfully connected to the grid on March 17, marking the smooth commissioning of PetroChina's first wind power project.

▲ source: PetroChina CTOnews.com official information that the project is an important part of the 150,000 kilowatt self-eliminating wind power project under construction in Jilin Oilfield, including 18 typhoon units, with a total installed capacity of 78000 kilowatts, annual generating capacity of 260 million kilowatt hours, and annual equivalent full load of 3395 hours.

According to reports, all the electricity generated by the project is self-absorbed by oil and gas production in Jilin oil field, initially realizing low-carbon oil and gas production in Jilin oil field, with an annual carbon reduction of 202000 tons, equivalent to 79000 tons of standard coal, and saving 85 million yuan in electricity cost for oil and gas production.

In addition, Jilin Oilfield takes the construction and installation at the same time, mature construction form of one acceptance. As of March 17, the cumulative generating capacity of 12 typhoon units exceeded 15 million kilowatt-hours.
