According to the data, the total number of copyright registrations nationwide reached 6353144 in 2022, with a year-on-year growth of 1.42%.

According to the regional distribution of registration, computer software copyright registration areas are mainly distributed in the eastern region, with about 1.17 million registered pieces, accounting for 64% of the total number of registrations.

According to the number of registrations in each region, the provinces (cities) with the largest number of computer software copyright registrations are Guangdong, Beijing, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Sichuan, Hubei, Anhui and Fujian. About 1.33 million software copyrights were registered in the above-mentioned regions, accounting for 73 percent of the total. Among them, 238781 software copyrights were registered in Guangdong Province, accounting for 13.01% of the total registered software copyrights.

In terms of copyright of works, 4517453 copyright registrations were completed nationwide in 2022, with a year-on-year growth of 13.39%.
