Samsung shares more details of 200 megapixel ISOCELL HP2 sensor: Tetra Pixel technology combines 16 pixels into one large pixel
CTOnews.com, March 21 (Xinhua)-- Samsung released a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 sensor in January this year, which was first installed on its flagship Galaxy S23 Ultra. Samsung issued another press release today, sharing more details about ISOCELL HP2.
ISOCELL HP2 image sensor can capture a wealth of details, is the largest sensor on the Galaxy model. CTOnews.com learned from the report that Samsung said the ISOCELL HP2 image sensor is equipped with pixel merging technology, fast autofocus and HDR functions to provide an excellent shooting experience.
200 megapixels are 16 times as many as 1250 megapixels, which means that the amount of information provided by the picture is 16 times that of it. Users can keep photos showing enough detail even after cropping, zooming, or resizing.
ISOCELL HP2 uses advanced deep learning algorithms to generate photos with more accurate colors and richer details. The camera is also equipped with Tetra Pixel technology, which can synthesize up to 16 pixels into one large pixel.
