Aerospace Science and Technology Group: the first phase of China's four-dimensional new generation merchant star system has been completed

The Aerospace Science and Technology Group said that the four-dimensional Gaojing II 01 and 02 satellites adopt double-star formation InSAR mode and distributed networking D-InSAR mode, which can achieve high-precision topographic mapping with a scale of 25000, centimeter-level surface deformation detection, and high-resolution imaging of better than 1 meter. It is the interference SAR commercial satellite constellation with the largest number of working modes and the highest product accuracy in China.
According to reports, the constellation runs in a network with four-dimensional Gaojing No.1 01 and 02, forming an integrated optical SAR service capability, which has application value in traditional remote sensing applications such as natural resources, agriculture and rural areas, water conservancy, emergency, ecological environment, and residential construction, as well as in emerging markets such as real three-dimensional, intelligent water conservancy, urban safety, and self-driving.
CTOnews.com learned officially from the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation that Siwei Gaojing II 01 and 02 are the first set of radar double stars of China's four-dimensional new-generation commercial remote sensing satellite system. The release of this data product marks the successful completion of the first phase of the construction of China's four-dimensional new-generation commercial star system. The system will be fully completed in 2025, and the space segment plans to launch a total of 28 satellites, which can be expanded to 56 satellites according to market development.
The Aerospace Science and Technology Group pointed out that when China's new-generation commercial remote sensing satellite system is completed, it will have the ability to revisit the world 25 times a day, a high collection capacity of more than 30 million square kilometers per day, and a global emergency service capability within two hours.
