China's first professional platform for underwater product development and testing has passed acceptance.

CTOnews.com March 23 news, CNOOC announced yesterday that the scientific research platform project of the underwater Product Development and testing Center built by CNOOC has successfully passed the final examination and acceptance, becoming the first professional platform for underwater product development and testing in China.

CNOOC Engineering said that the underwater product R & D and testing center is an important layout of the state and CNOOC in the field of deepwater oil and gas engineering, which is of great significance for supporting China's deepwater oil and gas development and mastering the key technologies of underwater products.

CTOnews.com learned from CNOOC officials that the project lasted four years, and through scientific research and construction, it has the capabilities of research and development of underwater production facilities and key components, performance testing and integrated testing of underwater production systems.

With the support of the scientific research platform, CNOOC successfully completed the research and development of the first domestic underwater manifold, underwater connector, MQC (underwater multi-channel fast connector), liquid flight line, and so on.

CNOOC pointed out that in the follow-up, it will continue to promote the construction of the scientific research platform of the underwater product research and testing center, and increase the efforts to tackle key problems in the localization of the underwater production system.
