CTOnews.com March 23 news, Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co., Ltd. applied for "antenna module and wearable equipment" patent announced recently.

CTOnews.com inquired with the State intellectual property Office that this disclosure is about an antenna module and a wearable device.

The radiator of the antenna module includes a first radiation part and a second radiation part which are isolated from each other. The first tuning circuit is connected at the first tuning point of the first radiation part, and the second tuning circuit is connected at the second tuning point of the second radiation part. Through the length and short layout of the first radiation part and the second radiation part, the setting position of the first tuning point and the second tuning point, and tuning for the first radiation part and the second radiation part respectively, so that the first radiation part and the second radiator can support double positioning frequency bands and dual communication frequency bands, the positioning accuracy and communication efficiency of the antenna module and the intelligent wearable device including the antenna module are improved.

Only from the patent information, it is not difficult to see that this patent is mainly aimed at improving the positioning and communication quality of smart wearable devices. At present, it is not known whether Xiaomi will be used in smart wearable devices after the patent is granted.
