CTOnews.com, March 26, 2008-Rufus is a popular tool for creating Windows (or other operating system) installation media, and the latest official version 3.22 is now available for download from GitHub with several significant changes and improvements.

Rufus 3.22 introduces the ability to disable automatic BitLocker encryption in the Windows user experience dialog box to personalize Windows 11 installation media along with existing installation options, such as removing requirements for 4GB memory, secure startup, TPM 2.0, and online Microsoft accounts.

Other changes to Rufus 3.22 include support for SHA-1 and SHA-256 x86 acceleration on processors and the ability to keep logs between sessions. Also fixed the problem with SSD. However, after using Rufus 3.22, Windows 7 users can no longer use this application to download ISO images.

As a reminder, this is the last version of Rufus that can be run on Windows 7. Users can download the official version of Rufus 3.22 from the application's GitHub repository.
