CTOnews.com March 26 news, according to the release of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the electromagnetic pneumatic valve four-machine products of its six institutes have recently passed the grade acceptance evaluation, realizing the first application of the institute's 3D printing technology in valve products.

For a long time, the four sets of solenoid pneumatic valve is the key to restrict the improvement of task completion rate, of which the shell part is the most complex, which needs to integrate four-way solenoid valve assembly and one guide valve assembly. In order to improve the machining process, shorten the generation cycle, improve the delivery qualified rate and quality stability, the research team applied 3D printing technology to the production of valve parts. After half a year of design and research and development, the valve business department of the institute and the material increasing center of No. 7103 Plant of the sixth Hospital have finally achieved successful application and delivery, which provides a strong technical support for improving valve production capacity and realizing mass production. In the follow-up, the institute will adopt the idea of modular design to further improve the qualified rate of batches and continue iterative optimization.
